Noor is an elegant, distraction-free Islamic companion engineered by Adam Apps from the ground up for iOS using Flutter. Designed as an ad-free spiritual sanctuary, Noor combines millimeter-accurate offline prayer calculations, an immersive 3D Augmented Reality (AR) Qibla compass, verse-by-verse Quran with world-class recitations, interactive 3D haptic Tasbih beads, and seamless Apple ecosystem integrations including Live Activities, Dynamic Island countdowns, Siri Shortcuts, and Home Screen widgets.
The Challenge
Engineering a zero-ad, high-performance Islamic app with native iOS fidelity
Most Islamic prayer apps on the App Store are cluttered with intrusive full-screen video ads, aggressive tracking SDKs, and sluggish interfaces. Our goal was to prove what modern cross-platform engineering can achieve: building a world-class, 100% ad-free, privacy-first consumer application that matches pure native iOS performance, fluid 60fps animations, and complex device hardware integrations.

The Solution
A masterclass in Flutter mobile engineering & Apple hardware integration
We architected Noor using Flutter with custom native platform channels in Swift and Objective-C to unlock Apple hardware capabilities. By decoupling UI rendering from background services, we achieved sub-second cold starts, silky-smooth 60fps scroll performance, and instantaneous prayer notification delivery.
